The Smart 31D prints both sides of a plastic card in one pass, at 300 DPI in color and 600–1200 DPI for sharp black-and-white text and barcodes. It turns out a card in about 29 seconds, so it keeps up with steady badge or membership printing.
It takes PVC, PET, and composite cards from 0.38 to 0.76 mm thick, holds 80 cards in and 25 out, and adds UV printing for long-lasting color and an extra layer of card security. Compact at 172 × 472 × 190 mm and 4.2 kg, it runs on 24 V at 48 W across 15–35 °C.
