The SMART-31D is a compact direct-to-card printer that automatically flips the card to print both faces. It is useful when employee, membership or visitor cards need a photograph on one side and additional information on the other.

Do you need an access-control credential?

Visible printing and electronic encoding are different tasks. Provide the card technology and system requirements if the card must open a door or work with another application. Optional encoding is not included merely because the printer can print both faces.

Which ribbon should you order?

Choose the ribbon around your design: colour on the front with black on the reverse is a different requirement from full colour on both faces. Confirm the exact ribbon and yield against the unit supplied.
